The function of the Property Division is to oversee the maintenance of the physical facilities, grounds and vans. The Grounds Committee functions under the Property Division.
Act in an advisory capacity to the Church Administrator.
Be responsible for the cleanliness of the complete church facility and its maintenance.
See that the property and facilities are maintained in good physical condition including but not limited to elevator, heating and air-conditioning systems, organ, sound amplifying equipment, kitchen equipment, and all other facilities and equipment.
Make recommendations to the Session when major alterations or repairs are needed.
See that the church property is adequately insured.
See that the church facilities conform with the safety requirements of the Federal Fire Code.
Secure suggestions and recommendations from the Sanctuary Committee when equipment is to be purchased for the sanctuary, or when decorative changes are to be made.
Be responsible for the church van(s).
