The functions of this Division are to establish and promote the mission of First Presbyterian Church locally, nationally and globally and to help members of the congregation have hands on experiences each year in mission projects.

 Originate and implement mission activities of the church. These will include both financial and hands on.

 Evaluate at least yearly what new activities are needed, which ones should be expanded, and which ones need to be discontinued or replaced.

 Recommend the Benevolence Budget for General Assembly, Synod and Presbytery to Session. Request what funds are needed to support the outreach activities.

 Recommend the outreach projects to Session.

 Provide educational opportunities to inform the Session and Congregation of the wider mission of the PC(USA).
