The functions of the Nurture Division are to plan, supervise and promote the church educational programs involving children, youth and adults. In general these are structured activities for meeting the educational needs of its members and as many others as may be interested.
Evaluate existing activities at least yearly to determine which ones should be expanded and which ones need to be discontinued or replaced.
Request funds needed to support the activities.
Establish and implement policies, i.e. Child Abuse Policy, making certain they conform with present operating policies of the church.
Seek approval of the Session yearly for Sunday School teachers, Youth Advisers, curriculum, etc.
Report to the Session at least yearly as to what progress is being made and the outlook for the future.
