Flowers may be placed in the sanctuary in our containers. The containers cannot be removed from the church. A fully furnished flower arranging room is located in the education wing of the church behind the sanctuary. Due to the layout of the chancel area, one center arrangement is not feasible. If the couple would like to leave the flower arrangements for use in worship the next day, the bulletin will note that the flowers are in honor of the marriage. Please notify the Wedding Scheduler if this is your intention.

Ferns, greenery and flower arrangements must have plastic placed under them. All decorating and flower arranging, as well as delivery to the church of the bride's bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets, all corsages and boutonnieres, etc., should be completed at least one hour before the ceremony. It is the florist's responsibility to remove all decorations as soon as possible following the wedding. This must be done before Sunday morning.

The Church candelabras may be used. Candles are supplied by the church for the church candelabras. Other candlelight may be used, obtained from a florist, with the approval of the Church Wedding Scheduler. Plastic shall be placed under all candelabras used on the carpet. Window candles may also be used.

If a Unity Candle is planned for the ceremony, it is the responsibility of the florist to supply the candles and the stand. Placement of the Unity Candle is by the wedding director or minister. Only tapered candles may be used.

No lighted candles will be used in the Narthex.

There are special decorations in the sanctuary for the Advent/Christmas seasons. If you are planning to have your wedding during the season of Advent (the four Sundays prior to Christmas), you should be aware of the way the sanctuary is decorated. Advent/Christmas decorations in the sanctuary may notbe moved. You may incorporate them into your plans or tastefully add to them. Consult with the Church Wedding Scheduler regarding this matter.
