The function of the Communications and Records Division

The function of the Commications and Records Division is to keep accurate records of the matters of the church and provide means to the congregation for contacting other members.

Responsibilities

 Keep the congregation informed on matters of interest involving the church and its work.

 At the end of the church year condense the records of the church into a bound volume of church history for the year, including pictures.

 Prepare an official record at the end of the church year containing official actions that have been taken, highlights from news items and pictures with captions. Assemble the collection into a bound volume.

 Be responsible for establishing policy needed to guide the activities of the Division and to operate within the overall policy of the church.

 Periodically provide the means for a church pictorial directory or other instrument that provides the congregation with information on church members, phone numbers, addresses, etc.
