Why Church School?

Church School enriches, engages and informs our thinking so we can reach closer to Jesus. This fall, we invite you to grow in your knowledge and love of Jesus Christ through a wonderful array of course offerings. The Bible in everyday life. Knowing God through our relationships with him. Understanding the scriptures. Growing disciples for Christ. It’s all about putting God in the center of all we do. Take a look and then join us on Sunday mornings. 4:12 Class	Youth Building, Room 23	Andy cooke	Based on I Timothy 4:12, this young adult class seeks to blend fellowship and Bible study with peers experiencing the same life challenges and joys. This year we will be studying the Book of Acts.
Christian Issues Class	Room 307	Sandy Boyles	The Christian Issues class integrates topical studies with Biblical texts using curriculum from the InterVarsity Press. New topics begin ever 6 weeks.
Forum Class	Room 310	Joan Pinson	The Forum Class alternates between studying a book of the Bible and discussing a topical contemporary Christian book. Both studies focus on applying God's word to our every day lives.
Homebuilders Class	Room 308	Peggy & Larry Emmelhainz	The Homebuilders class starts with fellowship and them moves on to thought provoking discussions about scripture and its application to daily family life.
Inquirers Class	Youth Building, Room 22	Larry Jones Bobby Heath Carl Bergmann	Inquirers are people who enjoy thoughtful introspection and lifely group discussion covering contemporary issues and daily Christian living. A variety of religious, social, and political issues are discussed in the course of the year.
Men's Bible Study	Youth Building, Room 21	Wayne Middendorf	Join this group for breakfast around 9:15am at The Grill and then come back to the church for discussion and conversation based on the Gospel of Mark.
W. D. Hooper Bible Class	Church Parlor, Room 207	Lawton Stephens	The W.D. Hooper Bible Class uses the Present Word Uniform Series curriculum. Over the course of six years this adult Bible study will cover every book of the Bible. Each lesson examines God's word and how it is used to be understood and applied to daily life in our modern world.
Women's Bible Class	Room 305	Wanda Wilcox	For women of all ages who would like to participate in Bible study, fellowship and support of each other. The fall Bible study will be on the Gospel of Matthew.
